Nutritional Therapy Consultation
In order to be effective, a nutritional therapist requires information about all aspects of your health and well being including medical history, dietary history, family history, digestion, energy levels exercise etc. This helps the therapist discover if you have any problems such as food allergies, nutritional deficiencies, toxic overload or general nutritional problems.
Besides asking questions the therapist might suggest doing tests such as hair mineral analysis, hormone tests or food sensitivity tests in order to get a better understanding of your current health status.
The therapist will suggest foods you should eat and foods to be avoided. They may also recommend a specific type of diet and possible lifestyle modifications. Supplements may be suggested to encourage your body to heal itself
